I have always love eating biscotti. I love to lepak at my favourite cafe overlooking the fountain & KL skyline, drinking hot choc/mocha & indulging myself with this crunchy & creamy treats, while watching people passing by. I've always bought this biscuits in small package to bring back home....but alas! in a split 'minute' they are gone! Then I thought again...why don't I try make it on my own.......hence.....the 'recipes search' begins........
I watched lots of cooking in you-tubes, watch & rewind....watch & rewind..again & again....till I believed I found the perfect recipe. I tried once....but the dough cracked after the first bake :(....when I cut the log into pieces....it cracked even further..... I studied the recipe again. It has to be baked 3 times!!!! Oh dear....oh dear. Despite the name being 'Biscotti' which means 'baked twice' in Italian, the real fact is.....you need to bake it 3 times!
The aroma from the 1st bake was amazing.....I knew I shouldn't give in. I studied the recipe and watch more you-tubes....and tried again. With a dozens of videos, recipes & tips......walla.........they turned out real goooddddddd.....with the sweet scent of a drop of lemon.....mmm.....the taste is soooo amazinggggggg. Alhamdulillah :)
